Naturally repels cockroaches and lizards: A carefully balanced blend of herbs creates an environment that cockroaches and lizards would much rather avoid. They are encouraged to move along, not killed, so there are no poisons, sticky traps or unwelcome surprises behind the fridge for curious paws to find.

100% natural herbs, nothing more: Five carefully chosen botanicals and nothing else. No chemical pesticides, no synthetic fragrance, no naphthalene, no harsh chemicals.

Genuinely safe for cats and dogs: Many conventional pest products rely on insecticides or ingredients that are harmful to pets, and some (citrus or lavender, for instance) are especially dangerous to cats. Ours contain nothing toxic to cats or dogs. Every ingredient is safe to have around cats and dogs when used as directed. Your pets may not be fond of the scent, but it will do them no harm. The ingredients are not meant to be eaten, and the pouch keeps them safely out of reach.

The specially designed pouch is elegant and understated, made to blend into a modern home rather than stick out like a sore thumb. Your guests will think it is décor. Place it anywhere, or hang it high: Tuck the pouch into kitchen cabinets, behind appliances, in wardrobes or by windows and doors: wherever pests like to sneak in. Or hang it from a hook to protect the higher spots on your walls where lizards like to lurk.

Long-lasting, with a refresh built in: Each sachet lasts about a month. When the scent begins to fade, simply massage or give the pouch a gentle jiggle to stir the herbs and release a fresh burst of fragrance.

Easy refills: Start with the Pouch Kit, then simply swap in a fresh sachet each month. Each Pouch Kit comes with 1 pouch and 3 scent sachets. Replacement sachets come in sets of 3 or 5.

Caution: Although the ingredients are safe for cats and dogs, they should not be consumed by your cats and dogs. Always keep the sachet inside its pouch, which helps stop curious pets from getting at the contents, and place it where pets cannot chew or play with it. If a sachet or pouch is torn, throw the contents away immediately and replace with a fresh sachet. Keep out of reach of children.

Specifications

Ingredients: Artemisia argyi, Cinnamomum verum, Piper nigrum, Salvia rosmarinus, Zanthoxylum bungeanum.

Lasts: Approximately 1 month per sachet. Refresh mid-month by massaging or jiggling the pouch.

Repels: Cockroaches and house lizards.

Suitable for: Dry areas around the home: kitchen cabinets, behind fridges and appliances, wardrobes, storerooms, window ledges, along sliding door tracks and near doorways. Can be hung on a hook for higher wall areas.

Dimensions:

Scent pouch: Reusable. 9cm (W) x 11cm (L), with a 7cm (L) hanging loop. Made of linen.

Scent sachet: 8cm (W) x 11cm (L), 18g each.

Directions: Place one scent sachet inside the pouch and ensure the flap is down. Place or hang the pouch in a dry spot where pests are likely to enter or hide, away from water and moisture. Massage or jiggle the pouch every so often to refresh the scent. Replace the sachet after about a month.

Care instructions:

– Place the pouch in a dry area, away from water and moisture. Avoid humid spots, water splashes and steam, as moisture causes loss of scent and mould.

– Keep the scent sachets dry at all times. Do not wet or wash them. Discard any sachet that becomes damp or shows signs of mould.

– Store unused refill sachets in a cool, dry place.

– The scent pouch can be washed if dirty. Remove the sachet first, gently hand wash the pouch with mild soap and water, and allow it to dry completely before putting a sachet back in.

Precautions:

– Not for consumption. Do not allow pets or children to eat the contents.

– Always use the sachet inside its pouch.

– If the sachet or pouch is torn, discard the contents immediately.

– Place out of reach of pets that like to chew, and of children.

– Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands after handling loose herbs.

Please note: Due to the filling of natural herbs, there may be some discolouration of the scent sachets over time. This is completely natural and not a sign of a defect, and it does not affect how well the sachet works.

Frequently asked questions

Does it kill cockroaches and lizards?
No. It is a repellent, not a pesticide. The herbal scent makes your home less inviting, so pests are encouraged to stay away. That also means no carcasses for your pets to find, chase or chew.

Is it really safe for my cat or dog?
Yes. Every ingredient is a natural herb that is safe to have around cats and dogs, and there are no insecticides. As with any herbs, the contents should not be eaten, which is why the sachet always stays inside its protective pouch.

My cat sniffed it and walked off. Is that normal?
Perfectly. Many cats are not keen on strong herbal scents. It does them no harm, and it does help keep the pouch free from paws.

What does it smell like?
Warm, herbal and gently spicy. It smells far nicer than the usual chemical options.

How many pouches do I need?
We recommend one pouch per problem area, such as a kitchen cabinet, a pantry shelf or a favourite lizard corner. For larger rooms or several entry points, use one pouch for each spot.

How do I know when to replace the sachet?
Each sachet lasts about a month. When the scent fades even after a good jiggle, it is time for a fresh one.

Can I use the sachet without the pouch?
We recommend always using it in the pouch. The pouch looks better and, more importantly, keeps the herbs out of reach of curious pets.
